THE VISUAL ART NETWORK

The Visual Art Network (VAN) is a member-led, volunteer run organisation for local artists and makers aiming to promote the visual arts in Shropshire and the surrounding area. We currently have around 130 members and are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year.

During Shrewsbury Arts Trail our street gallery, located on the middle level of the Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury, will be hosting an exhibition of members’ work interpreting issues around climate change, sustainability and zero waste.

2nd July – 31st August: ‘No Time for Waste’

Other areas of the gallery will showcase the creativity and talent of local artists and makers with a range of work to buy including paintings, prints, illustrations, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, jewellery, glass work, wood work and greetings cards.

Opening Times (subject to volunteer availability)

Tuesday – Friday: 11.00 am – 3.00 pm

Saturday: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm

Sunday: 11.00 am – 4.00 pm
