We are thrilled to announce the return of Shrewsbury Open Studios for 2024, and we cordially invite you to be a part of this exciting event! In collaboration with Shrewsbury Arts Trail, VAN, Belle Vue Arts Festival, and Raven Studios, we are gearing up for an incredible showcase of artistic talent throughout the summer and beyond.

 

Our brand-new website has launched! Serving as a hub for promoting participating artists and providing easy navigation to locate your studio. Additionally, we'll be actively sharing updates on our social media channels to spread the word that Shrewsbury Open Studios is back and better than ever.

For artists who would like to take part but don't have a studio to open, or are from outside Shrewsbury, Raven Studios has reserved English Bridge Workshop hall space for these weekends. Email ravenstudios.shrewsbury@gmail.com to find out more.

 

What exactly does being part of Shrewsbury Open Studios entail, and why should you join us? Here's why:

 

🖌️ Showcase Your Workspace: Open Studios gives you the opportunity to invite the public into your creative sanctuary. Share your artistic process, engage in meaningful conversations with visitors, and showcase your work in its natural environment.

 

🏠 Venue Variety: Whether you have a purpose-built studio, workroom, or even a beautiful garden setup, there's a place for you in Open Studios. From intimate home settings to public venues, the choice is yours.

 

📅 Flexible Dates: We've planned four exciting weekends for you to participate throughout the year. Open up your studios for all the dates or just a few:

 

June 8th & 9th - launch weekend with Belle Vue Arts

July 13th & 14th - Along with Shrewsbury Arts Trail

August 10th & 11th - Along with Shrewsbury Arts Trail

November 23rd & 24th - A fine weekend for Christmas shopping

 

💼 Raven Studios has reserved English Bridge Workshop hall space for these weekends.

 

Benefit of Being Part of Open Day: As an artist participating in Open Studios, you'll have the opportunity to directly connect with art enthusiasts, potential buyers, and fellow creatives. Engage in discussions about your process, gain valuable feedback, and even make sales right from your studio space.

 

To sign up for Shrewsbury Open Studios 2024, simply fill out the registration form and submit payment by March 17th. Remember to include a copy of your insurance with your application for a smooth process.
