SHROPSHIRE ART SOCIETY

Shropshire Art Society is a vibrant community of over 130 locally based artists. Our members, drawn from all across Shropshire, include both professional and leisure artists, as well as lovers of the visual arts.

The Society proudly hosts a Permanent Exhibition and two large exhibitions of members’ work annually – the Summer Exhibition, which is held at St Mary’s Church in central Shrewsbury, and the Autumn Exhibition, which takes place at the Bear Steps Gallery. All of our Exhibitions are free to view.

The Society is open to both artists and non-artists who are resident in Shropshire and our members engage in an exciting and diverse range of activities, including workshops, courses, sketch and printmaking clubs, gallery trips, and paint-away holidays.

Shropshire Art Society Summer Exhibition
Monday 23rd June to Saturday 12th July (excluding Sundays)
10am - 4pm. Closing at 1pm on Saturday 12th July

Following the Summer Exhibition there will be an opportunity to visit a smaller curated selection of work by our members which will form a special Permanent Exhibition in St Mary's Church that will run until the end of August
