
BEAR STEPS GALLERY
Shrewsbury Civic Society’s home is at Bear Step’s Hall, St Alkmund’s Place in Shrewsbury. The society campaigns for the preservation, protection, development and improvement of the town’s architecture. Established in 1963 it has individual and corporate membership who support the work it does for the town.
Bear Steps has three different exhibition spaces; the Main Hall, the Balcony and the Link Room, each offering different opportunities for both established and up and coming artists.
The following exhibitions will take place during the Art Trail:
July 5th - 18th: Leona Thomas and others (Main Hall), Karolina Wakulinska and Anthony Finnegan (Balcony) and David Lupine (Link Room)
July 19th - August 1st: Artshack (all 3 galleries)
August 2nd - 15th: 12 Artisans collective (all 3 galleries)
August 16th - 29th: Steve White (all 3 galleries)
August 30th - September 12th: Tricia Crowther (Main Hall) and Johanna Smyrell (both upstairs galleries)
