THE HIVE

We are a specialist creative arts charity based in Shropshire, running wellbeing projects across the county, primarily for children and young people who face complex challenges.

We provide high quality inspiring experiences within our local communities which transform lives and help those most in need.

From our Shrewsbury Town Centre venue (which includes an art gallery, performance space and café/bar), we offer a diverse and inclusive range of creative events including gigs, workshops, exhibitions, films, theatre, talks and much more.

Exhibition during the Arts Trail: July and August

Derwen College – All About Me

An exhibition of artwork by students from Derwen College’s ‘Nurture’ and ‘Learning for Life’ programme on the theme of ‘All About Me’ as part of a recent competition. Using resources that are personal to them, students have represented individual likes and interests or highlighted their distinct skills. They have also utilised a range of adaptive technology to complete their artwork and used Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to make creative choices when completing their artwork.
