THE HIVE

The Hive is an art gallery and venue in Shrewsbury town centre running a diverse and inclusive range of creative events and activities including gigs, workshops, exhibitions, films, theatre, talks and much more.

 

The Hive also runs wellbeing charity projects with targeted groups of people across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, working with those most in need in our local communities and aiming to increase opportunities for everyone to access high-quality arts experiences.

2 July – 30 August: Group photography exhibition – ‘Representations of Time’

 

“In line with the overall theme of this year’s Arts Trail we asked some local photographers to convey the concept of time in a photograph. How can we represent an abstract concept in a photograph? In one sense, all photographs capture a moment in time but beyond that how do we portray the passage of time, the past, the present, the future? How can we convey the measurement of time?”
